Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. (More detail see Requirements for the preparation of a scholarly article )
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

There are no fees or charges that are required for manuscript processing and/or publishing materials in the journal.

There are no subscription fees or pay-per-view fees

The average time during which the preliminary assessment of manuscripts is conducted - 14 days

The average time during which the reviews of manuscripts are conducted - 60 days

The average time in which the article is published - 180 days

Basic rules before submission:

  • All authors have significantly contributed to the research
  • All authors are obliged to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes, in case of detection
  • List of references should be provided by authors
  • Information on financial support should be provided by authors
  • Forbidden to publish same research in more than one journal
  1. Paper should start with a discussion of a scientific problem or question, revealing the knowledge gap in the literature: show, who and how has analyzed the scientific problem of the article in the world economic literature (name of the author, year).
  2. Topic must fit the aims and content of the article.
  3. The language of the manuscript submitted for consideration for possible publication will be evaluated by our editors to decide if it is of sufficient quality. English language of the manuscript is strongly recommended to be checked by a specialist of English language before submission.
  4. At the end of the article has to be literature list (normally not less than 25). All the sources of the list have to be referenced in the article, indicating the family names of the authors and the publication year, e.g. (Molle, 2016)
  5. The literature sources of the article must include as much as possible Web of Science (Thomson Reuters) http://apps.webofknowledge.com/ cited journals (normally, not less than 20 articles).
  6. Articles should be prepared by means of Microsoft Word
  7. All figures should be prepared in black and white only
  8. The recommended length of an article should not exceed 10 pages
  9. Please note that Journal of “European Integartion Studies” uses CrossCheck™ software to screen papers for unoriginal material.
  10. The language of the article (original file) is only English and the structure should be as follows:
    • Title of the article;
    • Full first name of the author and the family name;
    • Author's working place and it's address, E-mail;
    • Abstract (about 1500 characters);
    • Keywords (not less 5);
    • Introduction, indicating the article's scientific problem, novelty, aim, main objectives, object, research methods;
    • Text of the article;
    • Conclusions;
    • List of references.
  11. Following supplementary files are obligatory to be submitted: 1. Text for blind review 2. Author's guarantee form 3. Cover page 4. References

a. Data about authors (name, first name, working place and it's address; academic degree and name, indicating science field and direction, phone, E-mail);

Article Template

The structure of the anonymised manuscript should be as follows:

  • Title of the article;
  • Abstract (approximately 1500 words);
  • Keywords (5-7) separated by commas;
  • Introduction;
  • Theoretical background and/or literature overview;
  • Methods;
  • Results and discussion;
  • Conclusions;
  • References;
  • Date of submission (year, month);

When submitting the manuscript, the following data about the author should be presented separately:

  • Name, surname;
  • Title, position and affiliation;
  • Research interests;
  • Address and e-mail;
  • Orcid No (optional).

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
